Wellington Wing Foiling Location Guide, Titahi Bay

Titahi Bay has much the same conditions as Whitireia, works best in NW. but you need intermediate to expert Wing Foiling levels. 

Park and launch from Bay Drive at the north end where the waves are smaller, there are toilets and changing. 

Super fun foil waves from well out the back, but beware of the surfers, very tight spot that can get busy. 

Can get light on the inside and can can be a heavy beachbreak in the middle of the bay in front of the surf club, beware of getting caught out (especially if there are surfers in the lineup).
